We’re thrilled to announce that Macmillan has been chosen as one of three charities that will benefit from ITV’s Text Santa appeal alongside Save the Children and Make-A-Wish UK.
The appeal is made up of a series of fundraising events throughout December and culminates in a live television show. Held on Friday 18 December, this celeb-packed event will encourage the public to donate money to bring hope to families in difficulty this Christmas.
Sign up to the Text Santa Christmas Jumper Day and, on Friday 18 December, don your festive knit and donate £2. The money raised will be split equally among the charities, meaning a third of what’s raised will help us deliver vital emotional, practical and financial support to people affected by cancer.
You can also show your support by picking up limited edition Text Santa merchandise including badges and wristbands at Primark, Hobbycraft, Heron Foods or Papa John’s.
And don’t forget to watch the ITV show on 18 December and text to donate. You’ll see films of some of our fantastic Macmillan nurses, the inspiring people we’ve helped, celebs getting up to festive antics and a whole lot more.
