We love receiving all your letters and emails. Here are just a few snippets from the messages that have been sent our way recently.
Kathryn, who emailed us about her local fundraising group
‘Here in the Doing it for Charity team we have had a great deal of fun organising events. This has included Christmas fairs, a fashion show and our very popular 'Gazebos in the Garden' – where we sell cakes, cheeses, jewellery, cards, handbags and kitchen accessories.
‘Each person in our team has lost a close member of their family to cancer, so we are delighted to have reached our fundraising target of more than £25,000 for Macmillan.’
Sue, who wrote to us about the craft-based breast cancer support group that she is a part of, the Pontyclun Bosom Pals
‘The financial support Macmillan has given us has meant we have been able to purchase items that have made a remarkable difference to the ladies.
‘At Christmas we always have a meal together. It’s a fabulous day and everyone enjoys the friendship, the laughter, and the total support that we give to one another and our families.
‘Thank you Macmillan for helping this very special breast cancer support group. You have made a tremendous difference.’
