Nearly 36,000 people give £2 a month.
£2 a month for one year could pay for a Macmillan nurse for an hour, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support.
We work in partnership with companies across a wide range of industries, delivering clear business benefits and raising vital funds to support people affected by cancer. Find out more about how we can work together and our current corporate partners.
By 2020, nearly one in two people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes. That’s half of your employees, and half of your customers.
From World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, to challenge events, to our wide range of volunteering opportunities, we really do have something for all your employees. Why not improve internal communication, encourage team building or motivate your employees by simply having a lot of fun supporting a fantastic cause?
Our award winning Partnership Management team will be with you every step of the way to support you and your employees.
Recently voted as Marketing Society Brand of the Year, the Macmillan brand offers incredible commercial opportunities including securing PR, reaching new audiences, cause related marketing and sponsorship opportunities.
As a Macmillan corporate partner you can help deliver change and improve the lives of people affected by cancer by bringing new services to local communities, for example funding a new post or implementing a new and innovative service partnership. Other ways you can offer support include sign-posting employees to Macmillan services or signing up to our Work and Cancer programme.
npower has been one of Macmillan’s biggest supporters since 2004, and the launch of our Fuel Management Programme (FMP) in 2007 was one of our most successful joint initiatives of these last 11 years. The FMP aims to support npower customers who have been diagnosed with cancer and are living in fuel poverty, by giving them a reduced payment plan. This helps them at a time when their energy needs have grown, but their income has often dropped due to their cancer treatment. The FMP has helped over 2,700 npower customers affected by cancer, and npower has provided over £2.5 million worth of debt relief and support to help those people stay warm. In recognition of this achievement, in 2013 we won the Best Single Project award at the prestigious Third Sector Business Charity Awards.

‘We’re proud to work with Macmillan on the Fuel Management Programme, a truly sector-leading initiative. Not only is it an innovative initiative, but it delivers a very real positive impact on the lives of people living with cancer – something that is hugely important to both npower, and Macmillan.’Clare McDougall, npower Head of Community & Education
