This stunning run takes you through some beautiful Highland scenery, through woods of Garmaddie and returns back to Balmoral Castle. This course has been voted by Runners World as the most scenic road race in the country.

How do I get a place?

There are two ways to get yourself signed up for Run Balmoral:

Macmillan Charity Place

Our Team Macmillan charity places are the easiest way to enter Run Balmoral and support people with cancer. Our places are free, all we ask is that you pledge to raise £150 to support people affected by cancer. To get your place click on the green "Get a guaranteed place" button.

Your Own Place

Alternatively, you can purchase a Run Balmoral place from the event organisers website official race website. Once you have done that we would love to have you running for Team Macmillan. Click the "I have my own place" button above to get signed up. There’s no minimum sponsorship, just raise as much as you can!

Why be part of Team Macmillan?

Whichever way you choose to join, as part of Team Macmillan, we’ll make sure you have:

- Our brand new fundraising pack, access to our online training zone and loads of fundraising tips and tricks.

- Your free Team Macmillan technical running vest or t-shirt, plus iron on letters to customise your kit.

- Newsletters to keep you up to date with Run Balmoral news and activities.

And of course... the loudest and most supportive cheerers on the course!

Most importantly we will provide you with a reason to put in those months of training and fundraising, because you know that your efforts are going towards improving the lives of people living with cancer in the UK today.

Please note, you must be aged 16 or over to take part in this event. A full list of our terms and conditions can be found here.

Last year participants raised

£17,000

which could pay for a Macmillan nurse for over three months
