Everyone can get involved with the Longest Day Golf challenge, whether you're a golfer or not.
We've come up with a couple of suggestions for alternative ways to take part without hitting the real fairways. You could either keep things really simple or let your imagination run riot.
Stay in. Switch on. Tee off.
Get a group of mates together and play 72 holes on your games console. A real golfing marathon, but in the warm. All the money you save by staying in instead of going to the pub could form the basis of a donation to Macmillan.
Head down to your local crazy golf course and go round it four times. We're sure you'll have the windmill hole mastered by the end. Why not agree to donate £10 to Macmillan for every hole-in-one during the challenge?
Unfortunately, virtual challenge participants are not eligible for event prizes.
