Paul Davies, from Macmillan cancer support visited Hafod Primary, a unique community primary school in the heart of Swansea. Ms Webb (Headteacher) and all the children are keen to help support the great work that Macmillan do in the area.
Paul Davies, Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support in Swansea visited Hafod Primary to speak in their morning assembly about who Macmillan are, what we do in the area and how the school children could help support the friends and families of other children.
March 25 was the launch of Hafod primary supporting the great work Macmillan do in the area, Hafod Primary are keen to help Macmillan tackle some of the big issues with regards to cancer, facing the families of Swansea. Ms Webb (Headteacher) introduced Paul from Macmillan in the morning assembly to all the children and the other teachers. She explained that the school will be doing fun activities throughout the year to raise money to help people affected by cancer.
Paul said ' Its Great to see the involve all the children and get behind such a great cause, the ideas to some of the children come up with to fundraise are interesting to say the least.'
