18 February 2016
We’ve created a brand new election website to promote our Macmillan manifesto in the run up to the Northern Ireland Assembly elections on 5 May.
We’re using the Time to Choose 2016 website to encourage local supporters and people affected by cancer to sign up as e-campaigners, and lobby election candidates on the future of cancer services in their area.
If you haven’t signed up to be an e-campaigner, do it now!
We're calling on all Assembly candidates to improve cancer care by committing to our 3 calls:
Equal access to Cancer Nurses
Make sure that everyone diagnosed with cancer has access to a specialist nurse - no matter where they live, how old they are, or what type of cancer they have.
Better care during and after treatment
One in five people with cancer don't feel treated as an individual. Make sure everyone diagnosed with cancer gets high quality care and support which is tailored to their needs.
The right care at the end of life
Make sure people with cancer who are approaching the end of life have a say in decisions about their care.

Cancer can feel like the loneliest place. But together we can choose a future where no one has to face cancer alone. We'll be in touch over the coming weeks to let you know what you can do to support our campaign and make sure that no one with cancer has to face it alone.
