TT electronics plc, a global electronics group hopes their new partnership with Macmillan will raise a significant amount of money for people affected by cancer as well as raise awareness of our services.
The company, which has 8 sites across the UK, with their head office in Weybridge, Surrey wants to encourage employees to get involved and take part in a variety of fundraising activities to raise funds for Macmillan.
Siobhan Willox, PA for Group Business Development, said: 'We look forward to working with Macmillan and hope to raise as much money and awareness as possible. We are excited about the partnership and hope to engage everyone to make a difference.'
To date fundraising activities have included Christmas hamper raffles at each site, cake bake sales, wearing rugby shirts for the 6 Nations, Easter egg raffles and a bike ride. So far the fundraising across all sites has amounted to nearly £15k which has included match funding pound for pound by the company.
Employees at each site are now planning an array of fundraising events from taking part in running, triathlon and golf challenges.
