The local Macmillan team are joining forces with Brockbushes Farm in Northumberland to raise funds to help support local people living with cancer.
The busy two year calendar we have set up is packed full of events, collections and staff fundraising initiatives in the hopes of raising a substantial amount of money for Macmillan.
As part of the partnership the staff at Brockbushes will be filling tubes of Smarties with one pound coins to help make sure no one has to face cancer alone.
Each Smarties tube can hold about £25 which could pay a Macmillan nurse for an hour.Macmillan nurses are an invaluable resource for someone living with cancer. They provide essential care and offer support and make sure that no one has to face cancer alone.
