Macmillan will be there throughout the day raising awareness of the work they do in the local community.
Lisa Wild, Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support said, 'We are so excited to be part of Egremonts very first Festival. The sponsored walk is a great opportunity for family and friends to enjoy a lovely leisurely stroll along the Promenades whilst raising funds for us at the same time.
'The organisers and volunteers have worked extremely hard putting this free event together for people to enjoy and we’d love as many people as possible to register for the walk and support us on the day.'
