For the past 10 years Graham and Lyn Goodwin have kindly given up their fields for visitors of the festival to park in. They patrol the car park with their team of family and friends throughout, offering service with a smile as they go.
Since starting their Macmillan car park in 2006, the Goodwin's fundraising total is an incredible £250,000.
Graham said, 'We're very lucky our field is so close to the Hay Festival that we can use it as a car park to help Macmillan Cancer Support.'
Emma Garvey, Fundraising Manager for Herefordshire, said, 'Graham, Lyn, and their team of family and friends are such fantastic supporters of ours. Their dedication to raising money for Macmillan through rain, mud, and other adverse weather conditions has been incredible. Each year they take on the challenge with enthusiasm and great humour, and we cannot thank them enough.'
