The annual coffee morning was brilliantly supported by pupils, parents and visitors alike.
The pupils once again showed their energy and enthusiasm in fund raising for a worthwhile cause.
There was a great array of games and competitions including 'Guess the Spots on the Dalmatian' and a truly mouth-watering giant chocolate hamper to be won. Not to mention 'Find the Treasure' map and 'Guess the weight of the rabbit.' An entertaining morning was had by all.
Throwing wet sponges at the pupils and teachers once again proved to be very popular. Thanks to all those who were so willing to be soaked.
Most importantly, around £1,200 was raised for Macmillan in just three hours.
Huge thanks go to all who supported the Macmillan coffee morning. Well done to all prize winners.
Liz Airey, Macmillan Fundraising Manager would like to say huge thanks to everyone who took part to help raise funds for people affected by cancer in the local area.
Cancer is the toughest fight most of us will ever face. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed, you need a team of people in your corner supporting you every step of the way. That’s who we are.
When the time is right, you can do something to help. We can all be part of the team. We are Macmillan Cancer Support.
If you would like to organise your own event or fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support, please call 0300 1000 200 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or a fundraising pack.
