Members of Burtree Social Angling Club
Burtree Social Angling Club has raised a fantastic £1087.00 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
At the Club’s annual charity day on Sunday 1 September 2013 the winning catch, caught by Clive Clapham from Leeds, weighed 16lb+, with second place going to Barry Frankland and third place Allan Gilyeat with 13lb+. Paddy Collins from Richmond raised £125 and was the individual winner. Lindsay Kay, Fundraising Manager for Tees Valley would like to say a huge thank you to everyone At Burtree Caravan Park and Fishery for their continued support over the years, to all the anglers who have taken part, and to everyone who sponsored their individual anglers to raise this fantastic amount of money. The funds raised will make a difference to local people affected by cancer.
