Chuck Robinson after completing the London2Brighton 100km challenge.
Chuck Robinson raised more than £3,000 for Macmillan last month when he completed the London to Brighton 100km challenge.
During his challenge Chuck braved a thunder storm, a man with a dinosaur on his back as well as blisters and injuries from the race before crossing the finish line spurred on by his amazing supporters.
A gruelling twenty seven hours after starting, Chuck spoke of his challenging experience, "It was painful, emotional and exhilarating - but only at the Brighton racecourse finish. These memories will stay with me for the rest of my life."
"The thing that got me through was not letting down all my supporters who donated so generously in support of my challenge and Macmillan Cancer Support."
Hailing from the Huntingdon area, Chuck has already raised enough to fund a Macmillan cancer information and support officer for a month - meaning more people affected by cancer will have someone to answer their questions and talk to about what they're going through.
You can still sponsor Chuck's incredible challenge by visiting his JustGiving page, or if you're feeling suitably inspired by Chuck's efforts you can get involved with your own Macmillan event.
