Ashley Mills, Carol Boyland and Gary Lacy after they successfully completed the Round Britain Reliability Race in 2012
A team of 3 daring triumph enthusiasts are going to take part in the 24th Round Britain Reliability Run in memory of their team member Carol Boyland who sadly passed away in January 2014.
Ashley Mills, Darren Sharp and Gary Lacy are going to be driving their 1968 Triumph 2000 non-stop around Britain. They set off on the 3 October and will drive over 2000 miles in 48 hours! The event, organised by Club Triumph is now in its 24th year and this year is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The team from Bedfordshire are hoping to raise over £1,500 in memory of their friend Carol Boyland, who was diagnosed with cancer in October 2012. Carol had taken part in the Round Britain Reliability Run in 2012 and was planning to take part in the event this year. Sadly Carol passed away earlier this year so was unable to complete the challenge, so the team are dedicating their challenge to her memory.
