Tamara has her beautiful blonde hair shaved off, raising over £1700 for Macmillan.
While supporting her mum through breast cancer, Tamara Minshaw decided to go that extra mile to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Which is why her friends, family and well wishers packed into Bedford's Auction Room bar on Saturday 10th May to watch Tamara have her head shaved.
Tamara's bold act was inspired by her mum, Gilly, who was receiving treatment for breast cancer. Sadly, Gilly died five weeks before Tamara's fundraising event, but this only motivated her daughter to raise even more money.
Local businesses in Bedford helped out too, providing a fantastic selection of raffle prizes and goodies for a promise tree while 5th Avenue Hair and Beauty donated their services to carry out the shave.
Tamara's already raised more than £1700 for Macmillan, and you can help push this even higher by making a donation on her JustGiving page.
