About the event
RideLondon, the world’s greatest festival of cycling, will return in 2024. It's a hugely popular event, which was established by the Mayor of London in 2013 as an Olympic legacy event from the 2012 London Games.
A new one-year agreement with Essex County Council brings RideLondon back to the county on Sunday 28 May following the successful first year of the partnership in 2022.
The route
The RideLondon-Essex 100 is a unique opportunity to ride 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex.
Starting in the centre of the capital, you’ll then roll through the beautiful Essex countryside and its quaint villages, before ending with an iconic finish at Tower Bridge.
Details of the full route are set to be announced later this year.
