Fundraising zone

Don't just talk about cancer, do something about it too! Why not get young people involved in fundraising? We've got loads of ideas, tools and tips to hold a great fundraising event for Macmillan.

You could get involved with one of our national events - like Cancertalk Week or the World's Biggest Coffee Morning. Or get creative and hold your own event at school. Pit the teachers against the students in a giant general knowledge quiz, get sponsored in a three-legged cross country race, or go the distance and cover the length of the school hall in pound coins. Whatever you decide, we've got lots of ideas and everything you need to get organised in our Fundraising Zone. With the money you raise:

  • £24 could pay for a Macmillan nurse for an hour
  • £50 could pay for 98 copies of The cancer guide
  • £355 could help run a Macmillan information and support centre for a day

So what are you waiting for? Come up with an event, print out some posters, get sponsored, round everyone up to join in and help people living with cancer.
