Here are some fun and easy activities for Key stage 1 pupils/children aged 5-7. These activities can be done on their own, or linked to Macmillan events such as Cancertalk Week or The Big Hush.

Colour-in picture

This activity is linked to elements of the Personal Social Health Education (PSD and PSE).

Learning outcomes

  • Make connections and seeing relationships
  • Understand what a Macmillan nurse does

Body dance game

This fun activity is linked to elements of the National Curriculum: Personal Social Health Education (PSD and PSE) and Physical Education.

Learning outcomes

  • Recognise and name parts of the body
  • Understand there are ways of reducing the chance of getting sick, in particular being healthy and keeping active.
