This Christmas, kick off the festive season in style by throwing an après-ski party as part of Macmillan’s brand new ‘Wonderland’ themed fundraising event. Sign up now at www.welcometowonderland.org.uk
As part of the regular pre-Christmas celebrations, Macmillan is asking its fun-loving supporters to locate their Alpine alter-ego; dress up in their best Bavarian lederhosen, Christmas knitwear or sexy snow bunny suit and make merry with some fondue and schnapps.
Party hosts will be given all the tools to transport their friends to Wonderland with everything from playlists to food and drink ideas and fashion inspiration.
It’ easy to getting the party started. Hosts will get their very own party page at www.welcometowonderland.org.uk where they can:
• Win prizes. Reaching these Wonderland ‘piste points’ means prizes! The more that is raised, the greater the prize - from sunglasses and exclusively designed t-shirts to the chance to win a fabulous ski-tastic mystery prize!
• Raise money for Macmillan. Guests will be transported to an Alpine paradise of snow, slaloms and strudel – which is priceless surely? Not in this instance when every penny will go to support the two million people living with cancer in the UK, and help them to take back control and live their lives to the fullest
• Invite guests. It takes more than one to party so spread the word and Macmillan will send a magical passport to Wonderland for every ticket bought
Hannah Redmond, Macmillan’s Head of National Events, said: “This Christmas why not let Wonderland add a touch of chalet-chic to your festivities? You’re guaranteed to raise a smile - alongside your glass and some money for Macmillan - so make it schnappy and sign up now!”

When you have cancer, you don’t just worry about what will happen to your body, you worry about what will happen to your life. Whether it’s concerns about who you can talk to, planning for the extra costs or what to do about work, at Macmillan we understand how a cancer diagnosis can take over everything.
That’s why we’re here. We provide support that helps people take back control of their lives. But right now, we can’t reach everyone who needs us. We need your help to make sure that people affected by cancer get the support they need to face the toughest fight of their life. No one should face cancer alone, and with your support no one will.
To get involved, call 0300 1000 200 today. And please remember, we’re here for you too. If you’d like support, information or just to chat, call us free on 0808 808 00 00 (Monday to Friday, 9am–8pm) or visit macmillan.org.uk.
