The Corporate Engagement Awards
The Corporate Engagement Awards programme was established by Communicate magazine, the UK’s leading publication for corporate communications. The awards are the UK’s only dedicated celebration for CSR programmes and sponsorships and the communications around those collaborations. Winners at the awards demonstrate a true benefit to both the company’s brand and its partners’ values. The awards programme is judged by a panel of in-house experts across sponsorship, partnerships, CSR and corporate communications and includes representatives from Paddy Power, National Grid, BAFTA and Jaguar Land Rover.

Sheilas’ Wheels and Night In
The fundraising event ‘Night In for Macmillan’ asks people to stay in over going out, to have fun and to raise money for people affected by cancer. This year, over 48,000 people registered to take part and over 33 million people were made aware of the event. Sheilas’ Wheels and Macmillan achieved this through a strategic communications campaign. A variety of channels were utilised including a national television campaign, marketing materials, press coverage and social media.
The Sheilas’ Wheels brand was enriched by the sponsorship of ‘Night In’ as the campaign created an emotional engagement with customers who felt it reflected well on the company*. ‘Night In’ has also had a meaningful social impact raising over £5 million to date, enabling people affected by cancer to receive essential support from Macmillan.
