Macmillan Cancer Support’s flagship fundraiser, World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, is back once again, and this year it’s more stylish than ever before, thanks to an exclusive design collaboration with World renowned British designer, Sophie Conran, and Marks & Spencer (M&S).
Author, cookery writer and designer Sophie has designed two gorgeous bespoke Coffee Morning badges to raise funds for this year’s campaign, both exclusively sold in all M&S Food Halls and Cafes throughout September. The badges will sell for a suggested donation of £2 per badge and each badge comes with a recipe from Sophie herself.*
World’s Biggest Coffee Morning takes place this year on 25 September 2015. This year the event turns 25, and in this time has raised over £138 million for people affected by cancer.
M&S is the headline sponsor of World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and this is the sixth year that the business has supported Macmillan. During this time, M&S has raised over £4 million for Macmillan, which has funded the Macmillan support line and vital Macmillan professional posts in local communities right across the UK.
Sophie says, ‘I am humbled by the phenomenal work Macmillan does in helping so many people through what is one of the scariest and uncertain times in anyone’s life. I am delighted to be able to help this incredible charity.’
More than one in three of us will get cancer in our lifetime and it’s the toughest fight most of us will ever face. Macmillan provides practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care. No one should face cancer alone, and with your support no one will.
