In 2013, The Gulls’ Egg City Luncheon will celebrate its 25th Anniversary. As an established event within the city's calender it has a loyal following and heralds the start of the summer.
The luncheon is a rare opportunity to see familiar faces and feast on a delicacy which remains in season for only three or four weeks of the year. The event is an informal standing lunch, serving a feast of gulls’ eggs with traditional accompaniments such as smoked salmon, cheeses, plum cake and fine wines.
