The Macmillan Alumni Programme
Stay in touch with us - and each other
Macmillan professionals often tell us how proud they are of the work they’ve done with Macmillan, and how they’d like to stay in touch after their role ends or they retire. Now there’s an easy way to do just that: the new Macmillan Alumni.
Whether you’ve moved on to a different role or retired, the Macmillan Alumni is a great opportunity to network with other cancer and palliative care professionals from across the UK and to share your knowledge and experience.
At the same time, it allows you to stay in touch and maintain your relationship with Macmillan. Your work has been a huge part of how we’ve helped people affected by cancer over the years. By keeping in touch now, you can continue to impact our work in the future.
If you’re interested in finding out more, please email the alumni team.
The first Macmillan Alumni congress took place in September, and saw 70 former Macmillan professionals and staff come together in Manchester to mark the official launch.
The Alumni patrons and several members took time to speak to us about why they think it’s a great opportunity for other former Macmillan professionals.
You can also hear from Macmillan Alumni Ambassadors and members about their experiences.
