Rebecca Nash

Head of Evidence

As Head of Macmillan’s Evidence department, Rebecca leads the development of Macmillan’s cancer population research, insight and data activities, ensuring that we are an evidence-based organisation. She drives strategic research investment in close partnership with services colleagues across Macmillan, oversees the range of evidence functions within the department, and leads communication and use of evidence and insight on the growing cancer population in Macmillan’s health services partnerships across the UK.

Prior to joining Macmillan, Rebecca worked in research consulting and academia. This covered a wide range of expertise, sectors and methodologies including strategic foresight, trends and futures, commercial ethnography, customer insight and public health research.

Rebecca holds a PhD in cultural anthropology (University of Virginia). Her original research focused on post-socialist systems of family and social care in eastern Europe.
