How your support can help

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. We provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care.

We rely on our supporters for 99% of our income. Without you we couldn't provide any of our services for people living with cancer. For example:

  • £3,000 could fund a Macmillan nurse for 20 days, providing emotional and practical help to people affected by cancer and their families
  • £3,000 could fund 13,600 copies of The Cancer Guide, providing valuable information about cancer, its treament and care, and lists of helpful organisations
  • Approximately £10,000 could pay for the Cancer Line to respnd to over 900 emails, calls and letters from people affected by cancer and their families
  • Approximately £293,000 could pay for the Benefits Help for a year, allowing people affected by cancer to find out about the financial support that they are entitled to.

The sponsorship that you raise through taking part in the Kilimanjaro Hiking Challenge will help 1000's of people affected by cancer in the UK today.
