Applying via the ballot? The official ballot is now open and you can apply for your own place by logging onto www.edinburgh-marathon.co.uk. Entry costs £39 and the ballot closes on the 15 January. The results will then be announced in early February.
Already got a place? If you already have a place confirmed for the 2008 event then we would love to have you as part of Team Macmillan. Simply email us at edinburghmarathon@macmillan.org.uk and we will provide you with a full Fundraising and Training Pack, regular Newsletters keeping you up to date with Team Macmillan news and of course a sponsor form! Most importantly we will provide you with a reason to put in those months of training and fundraising, because you will know that your efforts are going towards improving the lives of people living with cancer in the UK today.
Need a Charity place? If you are unsuccessful in the ballot or would like to get a place confirmed now, then you can apply for one of our guaranteed places. In return for a guaranteed entry we ask for a minimum sponsorship pledge of £750. To apply fill in our Guaranteed Place application form [pdf, 107kb]. We will let you know within 3 working days whether or not you have been successful.
