Activities Our group holds monthly support group meetings on every second Monday of the month from 7.45pm to 9pm at Fullwell Cross Library, Barkingside, Ilford. We have talks by health professionals as well as Q&A sessions and times for chats with each other. From time to time we also hold awareness events in venues accross our area. We also have trained volunteers available and ready to listen and share their experiences about prostate cancer.

Meeting place
Activities We provide transport for patients visiting mainland hospitals for consultations or treatment. We also provide transport on Arran for those who need to go to Brodick Ferry or the Arran War Memorial Hospital. After treatment by Radiotherapy or Chemotherapy we will provide a course of Complementary therapy. Equipment and services are also supplied to surgeries and hospitals to enhance the care of their cancer patients.

Activities The Arthur Rank House Day Therapy Service provides tailor made programmes for patients in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. 6 or 12 week programmes are offered with once weekly sessions on either a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. The Day Therapy Service is run by Specialist Health professionals and Volunteers. Patients will have access to advice and support on symptom management, relaxation and Complementary Therapy, Creative Activity, emotional support and interaction and peer support. Activities Everyone diagnosed with mesothelioma or asbestos related lung cancer will be visited at home and helped out depending on their individual needs. We support sufferers and their families both emotionally and practically. We also hold an annual conference to provide information. Continual home visits can be made throughout the course of the illness.
