World's Biggest Coffee Morning 2007
The Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning took place on Friday September 28th and in Staffordshire over 500 people registered to take part. Money has started to come in and the current total is just over £55,000.
Pictured, Jan and Norman Vine from Leek have held a coffee morning for the past nine years and on Friday the 29th they welcomed over 93 guests into their home to have a brew for the charity, they held a number of fundraising activities including a garage sale, cake stall, raffle and a name the teddy competition.
The couple raised a whopping £1,385 beating their personal best of £850 which they raised at last years event.
The couple are hoping to do it all again next year.
Another keen supporter of our Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning is Ron Box who like Jane and Norman has been doing the event for some years now, this year however being the best ever, and raising a fantastic £2,510.
We would like to take this opportunity of thanking all those who very kindly held a coffee morning for Macmillan your support is so much appreciated there is so many of you unfortunately too many to mention, but we are extremely grateful to you all.
All the money that you raised will go to helping Macmillan provide the many services they offer in Staffordshire.
