Ex Mayor cycles for Macmillan
The Ex Mayor of Stevenage, Simon Speller, has raised £800 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Simon cycled more than 400 miles around East Anglia to raise money and awareness for Macmillan. During the run up to his event, one of Simon's councillor colleagues died of cancer so the ride was also in his memory.
Simon's wife Bridy also received help from Macmillan nurses when she was diagnosed with breast cancer about a year ago. They were both so grateful for the support they received.
Simon is planning on organising another bike ride for Macmillan next year.
