Team of Avon and Somerset Constabulary set to run Bristol Half Marathon 2008.

Running in support of colleague Dave Huggins, who has recently undergone treatments for bowel cancer, are an 18 strong team of police from stations across Bristol.

Each team member holds a personal reason for running this year's marathon, but they are united by the fact that they wish to raise awareness and vital funds for Macmillan demonstrating recognition and and support for the work that we do.

Mark Runacres, Nick Tizzard, Andrew Whelpton, Andy Bennett, Mark Aston, Johanna Holmes, Julie Bowle, Tom Thompson, Leylah Marouf, James Hambly, Larisa Hunt, Lewis Wiltshire, Paul Vitue, Christian Wells, Mark Smyth-Roberts and Jon Ames will join Dave Huggins to run the Bristol Half Marathon, which takes place on 14 September 2008.
