We asked anyone who needed to buy travel insurance to take part in our research trial. This involved calling for a travel insurance quote from Direct Line Insurance, which is a part of RBS.
At this stage RBS will not make any detailed changes to the Direct Line Insurance product, but will gather data and share it with us so we can analyse it and discuss with RBS what improvements could be made. We will then make follow up calls to people who have taken part in the trial to find out more about their experience.
The trial began on 22 May and closed on 25 July 2007.
