The Big Picnic
17 June-14 July 2009

This year, the Macmillan Cancer Support Big Picnic, supported by Somerfield, is back and bigger than ever. Last year we had more than 3,000 picnics all around the UK and raised over £200,000 for people affected by cancer.

We're encouraging everyone to get together with their friends, families and colleagues to host a picnic and raise money for the two million people living with cancer in the UK.

Every day in the UK, 822 people are diagnosed with cancer. Macmillan's aim is to reach every one of these people, but we need your help to do it. The money you raise can help us to provide vital support and care. And remember, it doesn't even have to be a traditional picnic. Why not have a barbeque or organise a lunch with your colleagues? Anything goes!
