We asked candidates standing in the Assembly election to support our campaign and put people at the heart of cancer services in Wales.

Thank you to the hundreds of campaigners who took action to change cancer care in Wales. Our campaign was an incredible success with nearly half of all politicians elected committing to support our campaign.
In fact the Welsh Labour Party, which won the election, included all of Macmillan’s calls in their election manifesto.
We are now working hard to make sure that all Assembly Members (AMs) help improve cancer care for people living in Wales.

There are almost 120,000 people living with cancer in Wales today. By 2030 that number will have nearly doubled.
