We asked Assembly candidates standing for election this May to put people at the heart of cancer services in Northern Ireland.
Thank you to the hundreds of campaigners who took action to change cancer care in Northern Ireland. As a result most of the governing parties included Macmillan’s calls in their election manifesto, and all have committed to implement them through the cancer plan.
This is an amazing result which we couldn’t have achieved without you. We are keeping up the pressure to make sure that all politicians work hard to improve cancer care for people living in Northern Ireland.

We want to work in partnership with the Northern Ireland Assembly so that everyone living with cancer - regardless of where they live, the type of cancer they have, or the hospital they attend - can expect to get the best clinical, emotional, financial and practical help.
