• Terrain: Mostly on flat even footpaths, cycle paths and bridleways so good sturdy boots recommended.
• Dogs allowed: Yes, but must be kept on a lead. Please note dogs will not be allowed inside the Gateway Cafe.
• Suitable for pushchairs: No.
• Children allowed:  Yes.
• Registration fee: £10 (under 16s free)

About the walk

Starting and finishing at the Gateway Centre Cafe this circular walk is perfect for family and friends to get together and celebrate the start of Christmas. A time to enjoy a peaceful walk and reflect on the life of someone special to you, knowing that all money raised will support people affected by cancer and their families.

Enjoy a bacon roll before you set off and celebrate your return with a glass of hot mulled wine and a mince pie at the Gateway Cafe, courtesy of Relish Caterers. You are welcome to stay after the walk and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
