Cheshire Walk - two mile or ten mile routes
The 10 mile walk starts by circling the pretty Lymm Dam, then down through The Dingle, the historic village of Lymm and the picturesque Slitten Gorge, before joining part of the famous 'green corridor' of the Trans Pennine Trail, a haven for wildlife. Walkers return to Lymm Rugby Club, the start point, via the Cheshire Ring canal path.
The complete loop around the Dam is one mile so all walkers and wheelies will loop the Dam for a second time to make up to the 2 miles before heading back to the Rugby Club for refreshments and greeting the 10 milers back in from their walk.
