Join us on Sunday 16 September with friends, family or colleagues to show your support for Macmillan, celebrate loved one’s who have been affected by cancer or just enjoy a fun day out with all the family.
After the wet weather and poor walking conditions that saw us postpone this event in July, we’ve consolidated our four and nine mile routes into one, six mile walk which now avoids the wet, muddy and hazardous sections. Our six mile circular walk starts and finishes at Haslemere Preparatory School and follows the Serpent Trail to the beautiful Black Down. Enjoy stunning views over three counties before heading back to the School for a well earned drink and some goodies to celebrate your achievement. Registration for the walk will be open from 10am to 11am and everyone will start the walk together at 11am from The School. It is a led walk with two groups so you'll be able to walk at a pace that suits you. If you decide to walk on your own, please note that there will be no route marshals but you will be provided with detailed walking notes.
