The 2013 Yorkshire Swimming Festival will take place on 23 June 2013. You can get your place today at www.forallevents.co.uk| and then sign up to join Team Macmillan|.
If you have already secured your own place (and have received confirmation of this from the organisers) we’d love to have you join our team!
Once you’ve secured your own place, register to join Team Macmillan online| and we’ll send you a fundraising pack containing lots of fundraising and training advice.
There is no minimum sponsorship requirement, so we're grateful for any sponsorship you can raise for us.
Macmillan has a limited number of guaranteed places, which will be available soon.
We don’t ask for a set minimum sponsorship for our guaranteed places, but we do ask that you try and set a target of £100.
To apply for a Macmillan guaranteed place keep an eye on our website for the application form. We will add this as soon as we have our places available. Details of how to submit your application can be found on the form.
We will let all applicants know if they have been successful within three working days of receiving your form.
Macmillan will your £28.20 entry fee on your behalf (£23.20 for the 1,500m). We would, however, ask you to consider reimbursing Macmillan for this cost, as this will then ensure that all of your sponsorship can go directly towards helping people living with cancer.
To cover the cost of the entry fee, simply enclose a cheque for £28.20 or £23.20 (depending on your swim distance) made payable to Macmillan Cancer Support, with your application form and send to:

We will return your cheque if you are unsuccessful in securing a place.
Most importantly we will provide you with a reason to put in those months of training and fundraising, because you know that your efforts are going towards improving the lives of people living with cancer in the UK today.
