To help us make your event as easy to organise as possible, here's a list of the most frequently asked questions.
Get your school dancing and help to raise money so that Macmillan Cancer support can improve the lives of even more people living with cancer.
Ask your class or even the whole school to wear their favorite dance outfit and bring in a minimum £2 donation.
Your pupils can twirl in a tutu, hip-hop in a hoodie or even just jive in their jeans – it's completely up to them. When you register you will receive a free resource pack with lots of inspiration for you and them!
Friday 21 June 2013 is the official Dress Up and Dance day.
Yes! You can do it anytime. But ideally on 21 June.
It's easy - register here| and we'll send you a Dress Up and Dance pack with everything you'll need to organise the day in your school.
Your free Dress Up and Dance pack will feature PE, PSHE and Science curriculum linked lesson plans suitable for Primary School. It'll contain top tips, ideas and activities for a fun dance event, plus posters to advertise your event and stickers for everyone who takes part.
You’ll also receive a DVD full of easy to follow dance moves and tips and you'll be able to access extras like parent letters. You'll also receive a paying-in form, which will give you details of how to pay in the fantastic money you raise.
The DVD will have Welsh subtitles and select materials will be available in a Welsh version.
Your FREE Dress Up and Dance pack will be sent to you from April 2013.
However, if you're keen to get started, we have some great fundraising| and educational resources| on our schools website that can help you. You can also visit our be.Macmillan site| and create some fantasic posters and leaflets for your event.
After April, please allow 10 working days for your pack to arrive in the post.
Resource packs will be sent from April 2013. If you haven't received it by early May, contact us on dressup@macmillan.org.uk| , and we'll send one to you.

Yes. On receipt of payment, you'll be sent a thank you letter and a certificate stating how much you have raised.
