I already have my own place in the race

If you have already secured your place in the Jane Tomlinson’s York10k through the Run For All| website then we’d love to have you join our team. 

If you selected Macmillan Cancer Support as the charity you would like to run for when you signed up then Run For All will send us your details so we can add you to the team and send you a fundraising and training pack.

If you want to get started straight away then you can sing up online via our online form|, or you can email us your details at york10k@macmillan.org.uk|, or call us on 020 4840 4915 (be sure to include your contact details if leaving a message. We'll send you the information necessary to make you a part of the most enthusiastic, mean green running team.

There is no minimum sponsorship requirement, so we're grateful for any sponsorship you can raise for us. 

Apply for a Macmillan Guaranteed Place

Macmillan has a limited number of charity guaranteed places available, so apply quickly to secure your place. Simply complete our guaranteed place application form| and return it to us.

We don’t ask for a set minimum sponsorship for our guaranteed places, but in our centenary year we do ask that you try and set a target of £100 - that's £1 for every year Macmillan Cancer Support has been helping people living with cancer.

Race entry fee

Macmillan has paid your £26 entry fee on your behalf. We would, however, ask you to consider reimbursing Macmillan for this cost, as this will then ensure that all of your sponsorship can go directly towards helping people living with cancer.

To cover the cost of the entry fee, simply enclose a cheque for £26.00 made payable to ‘Macmillan Cancer Support’, with your application form and send to:

We will return your cheque if you are unsuccessful in securing a place.

When you join Team Macmillan

We'll provide you with:

• a full fundraising pack and 10k training guide 
• sponsorship form
• your free Team Macmillan running vest or T-shirt
• regular newsletters to keep you up to date with Team Mac news and activities
• the loudest and most supportive cheerers on the course!

Most importantly we will provide you with a reason to put in those months of training and fundraising, because you know that your efforts are going towards improving the lives of people living with cancer in the UK today.
