Team Macmillan guaranteed places are available now on a first come first served basis. To secure a place please fill in a guaranteed place application form| and return it to us by email york10k@macmillan.org.uk|, fax 0800 007 3526, or post it to:

We will be in touch within five working days of receipt of your form to let you know if you have been successful.

You can still support Macmillan by regsitering online at www.runforall.com|. Make sure you select Macmillan Cancer Support as the charity you choose to support so we can send you a Team Macmillan fundraising pack and technical running top (your details will be forwarded to us by Run For All). We will offer exactly the same high level of support , whether you sign up for a guaranteed place or through the Run For All website.
We do not ask for a minimum amount of sponsorship. However a recommended target for this event is £100. Whatever you raise we are extremely grateful for and it will go a long way to helping people living with cancer.
If you have applied for a guaranteed charity place in the York 10k| we will be in touch within five working days of receipt of your form to let you know if you have been successful.
If you apply online direct via www.runforall.com| you should receive confirmation of your place direct from the race organisers. If you wish to contact them please email info@runforall.com|.
When you join Team Macmillan you will be supported throughout your entire Jane Tomlinson's York 10k experience. In addition to our initial fundraising pack, we will send you regular newsletters full of tips to help you prepare for the big day. And if that isn’t enough, we will give you the loudest support possible throughout the race from our supporter points.
Of course! When you sign up to run the Jane Tomlinson’s York 10k with Team Macmillan, we'll provide you with a comprehensive training pack and regular newsletters full of top training tips, including advice from our Team Macmillan patrons. We'll also advise you of other useful sources of information to help you prepare for the big day.
If you get injured while training we recommend you contact your GP, physio or specialist sports injury clinic. They will be able to advise if you are fit enough to run. If you do need to withdraw you will need to inform the York 10k race organisers as soon as possible on info@runforall.com|. Please also let Macmillan know so that we can update our database.
You will receive your race number direct from the race organisers in the two weeks preceeding the event. If you do not receive your race pack, then we would advise you to contact the organsiers direct by emailing info@runforall.com|.
