Find out everything you need to know about running in the Jane Tomlinson's Leeds 10K.
Team Macmillan charity places in the Leeds 10k have now sold out. You can still register for the run directly on the Run For All website|.
When registering make sure you select Macmillan Cancer Support as the charity you would like to recieve a fundraising pack from so Run For All can share your details with us. We will then send you out a pack including a 10k training guide, running top and a sponsor form.
We don't ask for a set minimum amount of sponsorship. However, a recommended target for this event is £100. Whatever you raise we are extremely grateful for and it will go a long way to helping people living with cancer.
Public entry to the Leeds 10k is now open at runforall.com|. When signing up make sure you select Macmillan Cancer Support as the charity you want to run for. Run For All will forward your details to us and we will then be able to send you a Team Macmillan fundraising and training pack, and a technical running top.
When you apply online via runforall.com| you should receive confirmation of your place direct from the race organisers. If you wish to contact them please email info@runforall.com|.
If you signed up for the Leeds 10k directly through the race organisers at www.runforall.com| and ticked the box saying that you wanted to support Macmillan in the event then they will have sent your details directly to us. If you did not tick the box but would still like to fundraise for Macmillan then you can sign up via our online form|, or please let us know by emailing leeds10k@macmillan.org.uk| or calling 020 7840 4915.
When you join Team Macmillan you will be supported throughout your entire Jane Tomlinson's Leeds 10k experience. In addition to our initial fundraising pack, we will send you regular newsletters full of tips to help you prepare for the big day. And if that isn’t enough, we will give you the loudest support possible throughout the race from our supporter points.
Of course. When you sign up to run the Jane Tomlinson’s Leeds 10k with Team Macmillan, we will provide you with a comprehensive training pack and regular newsletters full of top training tips, including advice from our Team Macmillan patrons. We will also advise you of other useful sources of information to help you prepare for the big day.
If you get injured while training we recommend you contact your GP, physio or specialist sports injury clinic. They will be able to advise if you are fit enough to run. If you do need to withdraw you will need to inform the Leeds 10k race organisers as soon as possible on info@runforall|. Please also let Macmillan know so that we can update our database.
You will receive your race number direct from the race organisers in the two weeks preceeding the event. If you do not receive your race pack, then we would advise you to contact the organisers direct by emailing info@runforall.com|.
