Join Team Macmillan for this event by completing our online registration form. There is an £18.00 registration fee to take part.
Your registration fee covers the cost of the event so every penny you raise in sponsorship helps us to support people living with cancer.
There is no minimum sponsorship target. However, we ask all participants to raise as much as possible. It would be fantastic if each participant was able to raise £100 - set yourself this target and try to beat it!
Download your map of the course from 2009 [PDF, 118kb]| . You will do three laps of this course. The route is used by Regent's Park race club, the Mornington Chasers.
There will be kilometre markers along the route and a water station that you will pass three times. The course is flat, making it perfect for first-time runners.
When you sign up you will be sent a fundraising pack and sponsorship form to help get you started. For more information about how to raise money for Macmillan visit our fundraising tips page|. You will also receive monthly newsletters with lots of advice on fundraising.
This event is a fun run so you can walk, jog or run or even skip the course.
Along with your fundraising pack you will receive a 10k training guide with beginners and intermediate six-week training plans. We have an area of our website dedicated to training| and our monthly newsletters will contain lots of training tips.
If you are injured whilst training we recommend you contact your GP or a specialist sports injury clinic. They will be able to advise if you are fit enough to run. If you do need to withdraw you will need to contact us on 020 7840 4937 or at macmillan10k@macmillan.org.uk| to let us know.
You will receive your race number two weeks before the event along with further on-the-day information. Race chips will not be available, however if you would like to time your run there will be a big timing clock on display at the start and the finish for you to time yourself.
