"The atmosphere was buzzing and really set my mind at ease with talking to others. Being my first major run I didn't know what to expect and certainly the talk with the Macmillan representatives and the speech by the 'experienced runner' (Mark) helped more than others will ever know. Again Sue really knew what to say and helped a great deal as well as Theresa. They're both real assets to Macmillan as are all the staff/volunteers." Justin Molloy, 2010 Team Macmillan Virgin London Marathon runner
Why not try Aldo Zilli's fish pasta recipe| to help with your marathon training and carb loading?

The Macmillan cheer points - in a word outstanding. The noise made when I passed by was amazing, and I couldn't believe it got louder as I waved back! It really gave a spring to the step (yes, even at 25 miles!) and brought a tear to the eye. Richard Davies, 2009 London Marathon runner
