Public entry for the 2012 Great South Run is now open at the Great Run website|.
Once you have secured your place in the run make sure you register for Team Macmillan by emailing greatsouthrun@macmillan.org.uk| or call us on 020 7840 4915.
The Bupa Great South Run takes place in Portsmouth and is Europe’s premier 10 mile running event. You can enter the 2012 Great South Run now at the official race website|. Once you have secured your place join Team Macmillan by filling out our online form|.
The event takes on a fast and flat route in Southsea, Portsmouth which is an ideal course for both first time runners and experienced runners who wish to record a personal best.
We'd like to say a massive well done to all Team Macmillan runners in the 2011 Great South Run. It was fantastic to meet so many of you in the charity marquee, and to see the sea of green on the course. We hope you have some great memories of the day and feel immensely proud of yourselves. The Macmillan cheering stations were amazing and did a fantastic job in making me feel very special. Two hours is a long time to run, but it was the best two hours I could imagine.
