Questions about running the Kilomathon race series? Find FAQs and answers to all the most common queries below.
The official online entry system for the Kilomathon events can be found at www.kilomathon.com|.
Please choose which event you would like to enter and follow the prompts to register. You will be asked to submit your credit card details.
The entry fee will be automatically deducted when you are allocated a place. We recommend that you enter as soon as you can as entries will close when the maximum field size is reached.
Your 'own place' means that you have entered the online system for a Kilomathon event, directly through the official Kilomathon website at www.kilomathon.com|. Plus you will have paid an entry fee directly to the Kilomathon race organisers.
We just ask that you raise as much as possible.
When you join Team Macmillan you will be sent a fundraising and training pack containing plenty of advice on training, nutrition, what to do on race day, and of course some tips on how to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Of course. When you sign up to run the Kilomathon with Team Macmillan we will provide you with a comprehensive training guide, which has a 16-week training programme.
If you get injured while training we recommend you contact your GP, physio or specialist sports injury clinic. They will be able to advise you if you are fit enough to run. If you do need to withdraw you will need to let the Kilomathon organisers (GSi Events Ltd) know as soon as possible. Please also let Macmillan know so that we can advise you about transferring your place.
