Public entry to the 2014 Brighton Marathon opens on Tuesday 16 April 2013. To secure your own place please visit www.brightonmarathon.co.uk|.
Once you have secured your own place then you can join Team Macmillan. Email your details to brightonmarathon@macmillan.org.uk| or call 020 7840 4937.
Macmillan have Guaranteed Places available in the Brighton Marathon. To secure a place we ask you to pledge to raise a minium of £800 in sponsorship. There is no registration fee to pay.
To apply for a place simply complete our Team Macmillan Guaranteed Place Application Form.|
If you are running on one of our guaranteed charity places then you will have a minimum sponsorship amount of £800 to raise. This will due in one month after the event (06 May 2014).
If you are succesful in securing your own place then you do not have a minimum sponsorship target, we just ask you to raise as much as possible. We will provide you with the same level of care and support that our guaranteed place runners receive.
An 'own place' is when you secure a place in the Brighton Marathon directly through the race organisers - either through public registration or the ballot.
If you are successful in securing your own place in the Brighton Marathon then you can join Team Macmillan through our online form|.
A charity guaranteed place means that you have completed a guaranteed charity place application form and have been notified by Team Macmillan that your application was successful.
We will make guaranteed place application forms available to download when public registration has filled.

Of course. When you sign up to run the Brighton Marathon with Team Macmillan we’ll provide you with a comprehensive training pack and regular newsletters full of top training tips, including advice from our Team Macmillan patrons. We will also advise you of other useful sources of information to help you prepare for the big day.
If you or any of your team mates get injured while training we recommend you contact your GP, physio or specialist sports injury clinic. They will be able to advise you if you are fit enough to run.
If you do need to withdraw you will need to inform the Brighton Marathon race organisers as soon as possible. Please also let Macmillan know so that we can advise you about transferring your place.
Your official race number and timing chip will be sent to you directly from the Brighton Marathon race organisers approximately two weeks before the event.
