The Guards Chapel Carol Concert raised a huge £130,000 in 2011 and is one of Macmillan Cancer Support's most prestigious annual events.

The evening comprised a mix of musical performances, readings and congregational carols followed by a post-concert reception at Wellington Barracks.
Four outstanding artists with flourishing international careers performed at 2011's event - Alison Balsom (trumpet), Natalie Clein (‘cello), Gerald Finley (bass-baritone) and Toby Spence (tenor). They were joined by the Scots Guards band and their pipers, together with the Royal Military Chapel choir and award-winning a cappella ensemble VOCES8.
The concert was introduced once again by Martyn Lewis, and celebrity readers included Damian Lewis, Richard Wilson, Imogen Stubbs, Derek Jacobi and Sheila Hancock.
