Macmillan De'Longhi Art Auction

For the past four years Macmillan and De'Longhi have joined forces to host the hugely successful Macmillan De’Longhi Art Auction, raising a phenomenal £500,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

On Tuesday 27 September 2011, Macmillan and De’Longhi joined forces to host the fifth annual Macmillan De’Longhi Art Auction

Held for the first time at Bonhams, the prestigious Mayfair auction house, the event raised almost £100,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Sixty-one fantastic artworks were generously donated by a wide selection of contemporary artists including Rankin, Mary McCartney, Maggi Hambling, Gavin Turk, Ringo Starr and Sam Taylor-Wood, with all money raised going towards supporting people affected by cancer. This money will fund services such as information and support centres, phone services, cancer care centres, as well as paying for nurses and other specialist health care professionals.

We were delighted to welcome Jerry Hall as our celebrity host and many other well-known faces kindly lent their support on the evening including Pandemonium, Kate Walsh and the cast of Made in Chelsea.

We extend our thanks to De’Longhi for their continued support of this event and everyone who attended to help raise such a significant amount of money for people affected by cancer.
